When our residents come to Hammocks on the Edisto, they may be suffering. Hammocks on the Edisto will weave together the philosophy and practices of yoga with the guiding principles of the 12-step program to create a centered mind and body sobriety approach. The word yoga translates to “union.” Uniting the mind and the body through a series of postures synced to the breath to create a deep connection to yourself, your sobriety, and the world around you.
