The admissions team at Hammocks on the Edisto provides an estimated amount for treatment which the resident will need to pay prior to her admission. Our team expects that she pay this amount, and we will finalize any financial arrangements during the admission process or during such a time that we’ve acquired new information. Our team works each day to develop a comprehensive, individualized treatment plan. This unique plan meets each resident’s unique needs throughout her stay at Hammocks. We begin developing each person’s treatment plan during our pre-admission screenings and continue through our discharge planning. We strive to get to the “root of the problem.” We work to understand what motivates each woman’s urge to use substances and the uncontrollable cravings to self-medicate the distress. Evaluations and meticulous assessments will occur from the following professional designations during admission:
- Addiction psychiatry services: Knowing the underlying causes for substance use, the patterns of use, a woman’s personal history, and any underlying mental health concerns that may be contributing to the woman’s addiction.
- Medical services: The medical team at Hammocks on the Edisto includes providers with extensive. Our experts in addiction medicine understand the impact substance use disorders have on a woman’s mental and physical well-being.
- Registered nurses (RNs): Hammocks on the Edisto has nursing staff on-site 24/7. Our RNs assist residents and provide correlative care in conjunction with the medical team in order to address any identified physical or mental health needs.
- Licensed and certified therapists: Experienced professionals work with each resident to explore the biopsychosocial nature of their substance use. We offer group, family, and individual sessions to help the women in our programs to achieve their treatment plan goals.
- Multi-disciplinary treatment team: Our providers will review each woman’s progress weekly, recommending any necessary changes to assure clear communication and progress for their individual treatment goals.
- Treatment plan development: Our assessments lead to an individualized plan for treatment during each resident’s stay.
